Hi All,

I am getting confused with the feature "multiple level" undo disk? What is
the meansing?

Besides, would you please also advise the maximum amount of physical memory
that MSVS can support.

Are you referring to differencing disks? differencing disks allow you
to create multiple VMs from one original disk image. For example, you
install Windows 2000 and write protect it. Next, you attach a child
differencing disk to it and install SP1, and repeat with 3 other child
images for SP2 , 3 and 4. Now, you write protect those 4 child disks,
and then attach another differencing disk to each of them and install
various versions of Office. What you end up with is 1 Win2k parent, 4
child images attached to the original, then any number of additional
child images attached to each previous child, and so on. Its like a
tree in graph theory.

From Microsoft's Virtual Server FAQ:

Q. How much host memory can Virtual Server 2005 use?

A. Virtual Server 2005 can use up to 64 GB of memory. Large memory
support requires Physical Addressing Extensions (PAE) to be enabled on
the host operating system.

Q. How much memory can a virtual machine use?

A. Each virtual machine can use up to 3.6 gigabyte (GB) of memory

believe he is mentioning differencing disk.
