Problem configuring User Account

I tried configuring one of my VS instances to run as a separate user so
I can have it start automatically. I made the change after granting
access to the .vmc and vhd files and all booted well. but I had no
network. the guest OS says the network is disconnected.

I went back and granted the user acct modify access to the C:\Documents
and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Virtual Server path
and the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Virtual Machine Helper path.

I did notice that I cannot look at the security properties of the
NETWORK HELPER object in the above directory (says I don't have rights
to look at security but I could take ownership)

So I'm assuming this is a permissions prob, but what have I missed?
