Virtual Server 2005

Hi All,

Server 2003 R2 (32BIT) Host Server
Virtual Server 2005 (virtualizing 3 Servers running windows 2003 R2)

I had to restart the host server, before doing that, I connected to the
virtual server 2005 via VMRC and then opened up the vm console and shut down
properly all 3 Virtual Machines i.e. server 1, server 2, server 3

When the host machine restarted and I logged on, only 1 VM (Server2) was
running, even though server 1 had a delayed start of 10 seconds

I manually started the remaining two, logged on to their console, ping
tested their connectivity with the inside/outside network - all fine

I left, after 20minutes, all 3 (server 1,2,3) were "OFF" with "save state"
in VMRC

I tried to start server 1 but it was like taking for error and vmrc freezed
; So, I restarted the host server again and upon logging back onto the
server, I switched all three on myself and they are working fine

This has happened before as well, and then we need to restart the server
again to get all 3 vm's working properly.

On Server 1 and 2 ; under VMRC > VM NAME > Right Click Properties >
startup/shutdown tab ; we had the following settings :

When virtual server starts "automatically turn on virtual machine as if"
delay in seconds for server 1 : 10 secs
delay in seconds for server 2 : 20 secs

server 3 didn't had this setting ;

can some one help me in finding out why is this behaviour caused ?

Kind Regards
Rihatum
