How can I choose a selection in a drop-down list?

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver

Message:

On the Virtual Server Administration Website, in every one of the drop-down
lists, I cannot seem to choose an option. When I click on the arrow of any
drop-down list I see maybe 3 or 4 choices that are all underlined. When I
move my mouse over a choice, the icon changes from an arrow to a hand
indicating I can select this choice. But instead of the choice becoming the
selection in the box, the selection remains the default option of that
drop-down list. This seems to happen in every drop-down list that I
encounter on the website.

Is there some permission or lock on drop-down lists that could prevent me
from selecting a choice that isn't the default?

Thank you for any answers.
