Network Interface Card disapperas from Host in Virtual Server 2005 R2

I have a Dell PE 800 series with WIndows 2003 64 SP2 and Virtual
Server 2005 R2 SP1 and ONE Virtual Machine running Windows 2000 + SQL
2000

Most of the time the server is shutted down on fridays (sometimes
saturdays) and when is powered on monday morning, the NIC on the DELL
is OK, but the NIC on the Win200o Guest disappears and look like have
no NIC installed. it occurs on 75% of the boots.

To solve the problem i need to re-create the .VMC config file and
sometimes (50% of the time) i need to reinstall VS 2005 R2 SP1 and
re-create the .VMC file to back to normal.

What can i do? The DELL PE (phisical machine) does not have Anti Virus
running and works perfectly.
