SCVMM best practices

Message:

I'm looking for some design insight. I was hoping to use my domain trust
(the SCVMM domain trusts the corporate domain) but that hasn't worked and I
can't get any response from any place I've posted the question. I can log
into the SCVMM server via RDP using my credentials from the corporate domain
fine, but I can't then launch SCVMM.

Currently my physical hosts are standlone while the SCVMM is a domain member
(obviously). I have the hosts monitored as 'perimeter' hosts, but when I
try to connect to a VM from the SCVMM console I have to authenticate against
the PARENT rather than the child VM.

I'm wondering how others have architected SCVMM vs. the physical hosts vs.
AD to get a useful setup.

Thanks
Blake
