I have three host servers running Virtual Server 2005 R2. I recently
upgraded them to SP1. I am also testing an evaluation version of Virtual
Machine Manager. Since I upgraded to SP1, the Virtual Server log in Event
Viewer is showing the following error multiple times every minute. I cannot
find any informaton on-line. Can anyone tell me what is causing this, and if
it a concern?

Hi Joe,

had the same problems, tooked long to figure out the reason.

The reason was the SCVMM (Virtual Machine Manager). After configure the
hosts and user roles correctly it worked w/o problems for me.

I agree. I had been testing SCVMM and once I turned that system off the
security errors went away.

Chris,
Can you please elaborate on configuring the hosts and user roles correctly?
I have been running VMM 2007 for about a year without any issues. We needed
to upgrade to VMM 2008 and ever since I have been getting this same event and
a few more like it on all of my VS 2005 R2 SP1 servers. It's driving me nuts
trying to figure it out, everything appears to be working fine I just cannot
get these events to stop posting.
