VSS restore using a new restore name

Hello,
I am trying to restore a VM using the VSS Apis. I am able to restore
it successfully but I want to restore the VM with a new name. For
example if I backup a VM gingervm1, I want to move to another machine
and restore it as restore_gingervm1. Does the Virtual server VSS
writer support such functionality? Can I use
IVssBackupComponentsEx2::SetRestoreName to set a new name to the
component during restore?

Just to clarify,
I am using virtual server 2005. It has a VM : gingervm1. I can do a
backup of gingervm1 using VSS and move the backed up files to another
machine. On this other machine I do a restore but it gets restored as
gingervm1 however I want to restore it as restore_gingervm1 or any
other such name. I see that a requestor can use
IVssBackupComponentsEx2::SetRestoreName to change the restore name.
For this the writer should have the backup schema with the flag
VSS_BS_RESTORE_RENAME set. However, I get the value for the backup
schema as 0 which means that this flag is not set and it does not
support VSS_BS_RESTORE_NAME. I just need a confirmation that this is
the case and virtual server 2005 does not support setting a new
restore name.

Can some one please confirm this.?
