Hi,

Is compatibility for Hyper-V concerning modern Intel-Mainboards a "tricky"
thing?

I would like to buy the Intel board S3210SHLC:

Intel® Server Chassis SC5299UP
Multi-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 3200 and 3000 series
Intel® Core™2 Quad desktop processors
Intel® Core™2 Duo desktop processors
1 CPU Socket
800/1066/1333 MHz
Intel® 3210 Server Chipset
5 PCI Busses
5 Total Slots
One PCI Express* x 8
One PCI Express* x 8
One PCI Express* x 4
Two PCI 32-bit/33 MHz
Dual memory channel, four DIMM slots for DDR2
667/800 MHz
Unbuffered ECC/non-ECC DIMMs (8 GB max)
Integrated ATA: N/A
Six SATA ports at 3.0 Gb/s
Two Intel ® Gigabit Ethernet connections
Integrated Graphics with 32 MB memory
Intel® System Management Software 2.0
RAID 0,1,5,10

Does the board support Hyper-V or do I need more informations to check out
before ordering?

I'd like to combine the above hardware with Xeon X3220 2.4GHZ Socket: 775/
Kentsfield/Cache: 8192 KB/

Obviously this is for a small virtualization solution.

Thanks for your feedback.

Patrick
