Does anybody tried to install Debian to an VM of Hyper-V?

Were there any problems with the network device?

It wasn't possible for me to choose the right device.
(my network card: intel pro/1000gt desktop-adapter; Hyper-V RC1;
Debian 4.0)

Haven't tried with Debian yet, but I'd suggest you use a "Legacy Network
Adapter" as your device. That shows in Windows XP as an "Intel 21140-based
PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter". Which should have a driver in Debian.
