Virtual PC 2007 x64 running x32 Virtual Machines

Message:

I have been using Virtual PC 2007 for about year with great success to host
my W2003-based SharePoint development environment. I run VP 2007 on a Vista
Professional, 32bit version, and I have accumulated several dozen virtual
machines and even more virtual disks, each running a particular customer
development environment. Now I plan to install Vista Professional 64-bit and
of course Virtual PC 2007 64-bit. My question is: will the 64-bit Virtual PC
run existing 32-bit machines and virtual disks? Or will I be required to
create 64-bit machines that will use the existing 32-bit virtual disks? and
lastly, will the 32-bit virtual disks be fully compatible with new 64-bit
virtual disks I may build in the future?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
