Virtual Server Newbie Question

We are about to look into Virtual Machine Manager, in an attempt to
reduce the number of low utilisation servers we have on our network.

I've set two servers asside, server one which will run Virtual Machine
Manager 2007 (amongst other things), and server two which will host
some virtual servers.

Fiarly straight forward question (I hope): When I designate server
two as a virtual host... what exactly is installed by virtual machine
manager (or what do I need to install). Ie does virtual machine
manager install Virtual Server 2005 or something else?
