Hello folks. I can't seem to copy files to and from my Server 08
parent to a Vista SP1 virtual machine with Hyper V. I checked
integration services and "data exchange" is checked which I would
assume should allow me to do this. How do I do this? Also when I try
to install the guest services on XP Service Pack 2, it tells me it is
an unsupported OS. What gives? Thanks.

Use standard networking to share files.

You need SP3 for XP before you can install the integration components.

Thank you for your information. I was wondering if you knew if future
video drivers will support over the 16bit limit that is currently
present right now or if auto screen sizing when dragging the corners
will be avialable. I know you said that you haven't seen what it will
do yet but I thought I would ask. Thank you!

No problem!

I really don't know much, nothing has really been announced, but
Hyper-V does support 24-bit color for Linux, unlike Virtual Server.

I use a general RDP connection as a rule to access VM's anyway, and
that does support resizing, and as a bonus, sound. I don't usually
use the built in Hyper-V client except during set up.
