No Network Adapters in Virtual Server 2005

I am running Virtual Server on Windows Vista Business edition on a
Dell laptop Inspiron 6400.

Whenever I try and create a new virtual machine, under the network
adapters
section, the only option I have is Not Connected.

I have tried several things to get this to work.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Virtual Server.
I have uninstalled rebooted and re-installed Virtual Machine Network
Services for both the
wireless adapater (Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter) and for the
wired adapater (Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller).

This was working at one point and then just quit.

I'm not sure what else to try at this point. any suggestions ?

Are you running IE as Administrator? Also, ensure that you have the proper
firewall settings in the Host machine.

Finally, make sure you have properly configured IIS for VS:

1. Under Web Management Tools enable IIS Management Console.
2. Under IIS 6 Management Compatibility enable IIS Metabase and IIS6
configuration compatibility.
3. Under Application Development Features enable CGI.
4. Under Common Http Features enable Default Document, Directory Browsing,
HTTP Errors, Static Content
5. Under Health and Diagnostics enable HTTP Logging, Request Monitor
6. Under Performance Features enable Static Content Compression
7. Under Security enable Windows Authentication
