Misunderstanding?

How did everyone apparently miss the point of the initial thread
question? Although some useful information was presented regarding
running Vista in a virtual environment, this was not the answer to
Abe's initial question.

Abe asked if there is a version of VIRTUAL PC that is available FOR
Vista. (NOT if there was a version of VISTA that will run ON VPC.)

To answer the question somewhat, Vista Home Premium is not "supported"
by Microsoft VPC 2007, but it *will* run MSVPC2007. I have both, but I
haven't had the chance to test VPC on my computer. To reiterate, I
have VPC installed IN VISTA, and I intend on running other OS's such
as WinXP in the virtual environment.

I will still be searching for an answer to Abe's question.

To simplify the "not supported" clause of any software agreement; "not
supported" is an easy way for a company (such as Microsoft) to wash
their hands of any responsibility to provide: A. support information
for any given operating system (OS) or any OS edition (such as Windows
Vista Home Premium) or B. compatibility with whichever same OS given.
