Virtual Explorer going crazy

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc
Sent: 05/14/2009
From: Vincent Fatica <abuse@localhost>
Message:

I haven't been with VPC long. Host = XPProSP3, Guest = VistaUltimate,
additions installed. I export my "Apps" drive as the guest's Z:. If,
in the guest, I roam around that drive long enough (usually under a
minute) digging 2 or 3 levels into folders, inevitably, the guest's
Explorer goes crazy, using 99% CPU (according to the guest's TaskMgr).
The host is at 50% CPU. If I continue, most of the time the guest's
Explorer just restarts, unceremoniously; occasionally I get a message
box saying that Explorer "has stopped working" and prompting me to
restart it. Details show APPCRASH at offset 65A20 in NTDLL.DLL. Any
ideas? Thanks.
